Gruppo Gamma was founded in 2013, fueled by a strong desire to design and build timepieces for collectors and aficionados. Gruppo Gamma produces between 1,000 and 2,000 watches every year and do not enjoy scale efficiency like big companies. Albeit small and independent, Gruppo Gamma focuses on giving the best ownership experience.

The name “Gruppo Gamma” was taken from a special unit of the Italian Royal Navy which was comprised of assault swimmers. The group was known for its underwater combat capabilities and is widely considered as the progenitor of military frogmen.
